Dr. Hadeel Alhaddadeh is a scholar and educator specializing in strategic communication, political communication, and public diplomacy. She is an adjunct Lecturer at the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida, where she teaches professional business writing, helping students develop essential communication skills for the corporate and public sectors. Her research explores media framing, agenda-building, artificial intelligence in mass communication, and digital strategies in public relations. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at major academic conferences, contributing to discussions on brand activism, crisis communication, and the influence of political messaging on public perception.
In addition to her research, Dr. Alhaddadeh has extensive professional experience in strategic communications and public affairs. She has worked with organizations such as The World Bank, Al-Jazeera English, and the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, leading strategic initiatives in media relations, crisis management, and public engagement. As the Director of Strategic Communications & Public Affairs at An-Najah National University, she managed large-scale campaigns to strengthen institutional branding and global outreach.
Dr. Alhaddadeh has a strong teaching background, having taught at multiple institutions, including the University of Florida, Virginia Commonwealth University, and An-Najah National University. She has designed and delivered courses in public relations, media strategy, crisis communication, research methodology, and strategic communication at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her approach emphasizes practical applications, critical thinking, and data-driven decision-making in communication.
She holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication from the University of Florida, where her dissertation examined media representations of the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup through the lenses of Orientalism and Islamophobia. She also earned a Master of Arts in Advanced European and International Studies from the Centre International de Formation Européenne in Nice, France, a Master of Science in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and a Master of Arts in International Relations and Public Diplomacy from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Jordan, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Applied English and Linguistics.
In addition to her academic degrees, Dr. Alhaddadeh has obtained several graduate certificates that enhance her expertise in research, communication, and international affairs. These include a Graduate Certificate in Computational Social Science and a Graduate Certificate in Statistical Analysis with R Programming from the University of Florida. She also holds a Graduate Certificate of Policy Officer in European and International Organizations, a Graduate Certificate in Project Cycle Management, a Graduate Certificate in Intercultural Communication, and a Graduate Certificate in International Mediation and Negotiation from the Centre International de Formation Européenne in France.
